Bunnie (2016)

'Bunnie' is a documentary about a 99-year-young woman who is a true Jersey girl. Born in West Hoboken (now Union City), she raised a family in North Bergen and settled in later life on Long Beach Island where she lives to this day. She endured the depression, was married to a WWII veteran who received the Purple Heart, raised four children, and performed on stage in school, community theater and even did a strip tease act for AARP and church group audiences into her 90s. From losing her husband to cancer, to the damaging effects of Hurricane Sandy through the physical consequences of a broken hip and aging, Bunnie maintains her independence and demonstrates the strength of the human spirit. Bunny's story is poignant and inspiring.
