Do You Like Cutting Chicken with Scissors (2014)

A filmic elaboration on common love and separation. The short-film uses interplay of sound, animation, graphics and film history influences in order to present a dissected narrative of two lovers. It showcases a collection of their failed attempts at intimacy, and the paradox of solitary spiritual fulfillment, through unique articulation of film language. "Did you like cutting chicken with scissors?" was Adrian Bridget's graduation work at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, The Netherlands, where it was awarded with the Overduin Prize. The film was part of the "TENT Academy Awards 2014" in Rotterdam (NL), the "Best Of Graduates 2014" exhibition at the Ron Mandos Gallery in Amsterdam (NL) and integrated the Panorama Screening at the Impakt Festival in Utrecht (NL).
