The Keeper: Ending Gun Violence (2016)

Elizabeth is a proud single, African American, mother living in a Coney Island projects. Her son Leonard is taken from her by gun violence before he can attend medical school. Leonard's mysterious friend, Raheem, gives company as they grieve his loss in their own ways. Raheem reveals he knows who killed Leonard and Elizabeth confronts the killer, solving the mystery behind her son's death, and gets her redemption.
