Obscene Beauty examines New York's Burlesque scene and how it has withstood the test of time. It looks at the artistry and self expression of Burlesque and how it combines social political expression, art and comedy within each short three minute performance. The docu-movie examines the history, impact and dancers involved in this art form and how it forms part of New York's cultural scene.
