Free Guy (2021)

In "Free Guy", Ryan Reynolds plays Guy, a non-player character (NPC) who lives his entire life within immutable, predetermined rules, inside Free City. One day, he decides to go differently about his routine, and that leads him into becoming an autonomous character, a player, someone who can interact and actually affect the fate of the game through his personal life by ultimately making his own decisions, and therefore potentially changing the nature of everyone’s existence.
