A Girl Named Hope (2017)

"A Girl Named Hope" tells two different stories: one of depression and despair and one of love and joy. The film revolves around the life of a girl as she grows up from infancy to adolescence, as told in two separate versions. In the first version, she's seen as a product of a toxic environment (drugs, violence, absent parents). In version two, her life at home is filled with love, care, and attention.
