With few hundred Magdalenian representations painted, drawn and engraved, the cave of Font-de-Gaume remains a major Paleolithic parietal sites. The analysis of the thematic and symbolic organization reveals the spectacular dominance of bison along the main axis of the network and the pervasiveness of tectiform sign to the bottom of the galleries. This geometric sign is distinctive of Font-de-Gaume and three other neighboring Magdalenian caves.
