Stay Alert, Stay Alive (1969)

Proper and improper arrest procedures are described in this short film. FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover invites law enforcement officers and other such agencies to use FBI training facilities. He focuses on precautionary measures in making arrests to avoid endangering lives of officers or bystanders. He points out that officers must know the basics of a successful arrest and that there is no such thing as a routine arrest.
