In this allegorical, fast-paced and introspective short, Guy's inner conflict is projected on to the world around him. He is aware of his status as a character in a film and wants to break free of his role. So he confronts the viewer, all of us, who he blames for putting him there. But is he only feeding into his own tendency to self-persecute? Does he only throw his anger back at himself? Can he find a way to break free from being a character or is this an unavoidable part of being human?
