One day, Apin drives towards the south along the coast on his way home. But the road, which once led him back home, is closed to all vehicles. He has no choice but gets off the car and continues the journey on foot. Destroyed by a landslide, the road is covered in overgrown weeds. The scenery looks the same, but there is no one in sight. He walks back to the forgotten village, a place that has been long abandoned... The waves keep lapping against the shore ; the bamboo is still thriving. On that night, after building a fire, he steps onto the sacred spot, clads in the traditional Pangcah attire. He starts a lonely dance and sings a lonely song, with no one there to hold his hands. He knows that the place is still guarded by his ancestors' spirits, and that is the reason why he returns. He comes back every year, even if he knows that he will be the only one...
