Young Lady Simone is the smartest kid in her school, when her mother, Lily is released from jail on drug related charges she has hope that things will be better. Her grandmother, Mama Helen has always been there to support her and her little brother, Sharief, but with all their efforts they can't seem to help Lily get passed her demons.
