For more than 30 years the Spanish soprano Pilar Lorengar has been an all-around admired and beloved star at the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The documentary by Arturo Méndiz not only follows her artistic career but also tells the story of an unbelievably strong woman. Pilar Lorengar freed herself from the poorest circumstances in her birthplace Zaragoza and became a worldwide star.
