Tape (2014)

'Tape' follows Katherine Antony, a respected woman dedicated to her passion and career of recording, cataloging, and preserving soon to be extinct sounds (endangered animals, outdated technology, last performances, etc.), and who lives with her elderly mother. When her employer notifies her that they will soon collect and digitize her entire life's work - a cherished library of cassette tapes - she struggles with the fear that she will be forgotten - that her work to be mistreated and left in the hands of people who won't understand how significant her recordings are. With no control, she is thrown into a personal crisis until unexpected tragedy forces her to rethink the last twenty years of her life spent dedicated to her passion.
