New York City the Movie (2017)

"NYC The Movie" is based on "New York City The Album" created by recording artist Troy Ave. Six of the most popular Troy Ave songs are incorporated into this narrative film including the tracks: "Regretful", "Lullaby", "Me Against the World", "Classic Feel", "Viking", and "Mama Tears." The story follows Ryan an African American teen from Brooklyn who learns about his mothers financial problems & becomes determined to pay the bills anyway he can. Ryan becomes involved in the drug trade for the quick money it can bring. As an adult, Ryan must choose between a life of crime or his new career in hip hop.
