La Promesa (2016)

'La Promesa' is a 10-minute emotional drama created by a group of final year students at Birmingham City University. It focuses on the themes of loneliness and neglect as two characters create an unlikely bond through a shared love of music. The film was inspired by a Spanish song (performed by the leading actress, Gloria Garcia) and has references to Hispanic culture, migration and adoption.
