Husband and wife run naked into a pond to swim and then to lay out sunning. Nudity includes both in full rear nudity. The woman's breasts are shown very briefly, but there is no male nudity. They are later shown to be rolling over each other nude, embracing in bed in a dark room; no explicit nudity seen.

Widow kisses man. We next see her waking up naked next to him sleeping.

Adults drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes.

A man develops a severe lung condition due to radiation exposure. He coughs blood in several scenes.

In a nuclear bomb test, a fake village is destroyed as onlookers watch from a distance. We see disturbing up-close views of life-like dummies melting and disintegrating.

A visually-busy sequence of Chernobyl melting down is visceral and frightening.
