Symphony of the Jellies (2015)

Discover how the graceful movements of sea jellies have been transformed into music. By using a algorithm that translates motion into mathematical coordinates, composer Eddie Freeman translates jellyfish movements into a symphony. The species of jellies are: Egg Yolk, Combs, Flower Hat, Pacific Sea Nettle, and the Moon jellies.Inspired by the movement technology invented by Marty and Wendy Quinn of Rhythmic Sonification Research Lab.
