My Mother's Daughter (2016)

While preparing a modest Chinese New Year celebration in her home in America, STEPHANIE receives devastating news on the phone. Without explanation, Stephanie asks her daughter JOYCE to change out of her lovely red dress into something white. Tensions rise when Stephanie discovers that Joyce did not change, and Stephanie is forced to confront emotions she is too reserved to speak out about.
