Happens (2015)

Present day. A family in the 21st century. A Thorax (funeral dinner) is taking place for the family's brother who has recently passed. There is no sorrow on any of their faces, but rather relief. There are no parents, they passed away many years ago. The only elderly man is 70 years old and is married to the family's oldest sister. During the commemoration, very slowly, knowledge of their late brother's life begins to unravel. The family begins to talk about his late behaviour and the terrible things he had done against his family without any morals, hard feelings or ethic lines. He was the 'Black Sheep' of the family, who cared for no one but himself. You could say he deserved his death. As the dinner continues we are discovering more and more about the family, and begin to understand the bizarre and terribly unnerving relationship between them. Every family member is against each other, their main concern is over money, whilst happiness and health is pushed to the side,although these personal elements which they have been fighting for their entire life. The family could choose to live in harmony and survive together,however the conditions won't be changed, they will push everyone into death around them. Is everyone the same, or could there be hope....?
