East Side Story

It's 2014 , the Civil war in Syria has entered its fourth year. Vicious assassinations have been targeting media activists who once represented a unified community. Now the communities fear each other. There are killings between the Orthodox Christian, the Sunni and the Alawite communities. Calculated murders have been targeting media activists that the government accuses of treason committed against the state. Paul, 17, is the only child of a Christian family from the village of Binnish. Fetema is the daughter of the town's Imam at the main Sunni mosque. This is the story of two lovers in a quest of survival.
