In the 80s, the scene for powerhouse dance crews mirrored the likes of ancient Roman gladiators. When speaking of the most elite, if one hasn't mentioned the legendary Team Impact, there isn't a conversation at all. Its been twenty years since the group disbanded and with a clan of new blood running the streets, the team has moved on with there respective careers. Kelvin, one of the three founders and leader, is now a top notch choreographer based in New York. Alicia an attorney,is now a happily married wife of three, while Anthony mentors troubled teens at the Opportunity House. One of his mentees is the troubled prodigy Jason "Vex" Parrish. Not only is his behavior unacceptable during school hours, his frequent quarreling with the Gem Starr possé and reigning champ VaShaun Braxton, has his education and reputation against the ropes. Catching wind of the rivalry, Vex's situation is the catalyst that Anthony needs for the resurgence of Team Impact.
