Avernus (2013)

This work has been developed in collaboration with the CineB Festival, Chile and MUBI. Working with the Nine Inch Nails album 'Ghosts I - IV' and 36 international directors a feature film is currently being created based on the Orpheus and Eurydice myth. In this particular work the artist experiments with creating a narrative as a hybrid of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth and various collected memories associated with loss, and the moments leading up to the loss of a person from one's life, through death or another form of parting. The movement was developed between the director and the two performers and was designed to reflect the transient movements of water and the act of washing/cleansing.
