Imagining Zootopia (2016)

Of all the films of Disney's artistic renaissance under John Lasseter's direction, there is no film like Zootopia. This film explores the creation of this anthropomorphic classic from its first conception inspired by Robin Hood (1973) to its meticulous research and animation. However, the true drama of the story occurs with its story development as the artists initially struggle to create a compelling tale focusing on a forlorn hero in a city fouled by cruel injustice. Against that narrative conundrum, a solution arises that is as radical as it is necessary to help the film become a cinematic masterpiece true to the spirit and magic of Disney.
