Why would a woman need a physical examination to enter the country? This short film by Elizabeth Mizon and poet Shagufta K Iqbal gives a personal and intimate insight into the hushed-up 'virginity tests' that women migrants were subjected to in the 1970s, as reported by The Guardian in 2011. The film premiered at Bristol Radical Film Festival 2015, and was screened at the London Short Film Festival in January 2016.
