Valisia, a modern-day prostitute, is catapulted into the impoverished streets of Otto Dix's 1920s triptych Metropolis. Dreaming to belong to the high society club in the center of the painting, she sneaks in with a stolen designer coat. But this seemingly perfect world is not as rosy as she imagined.
