In a highly racialized higher education environment, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity was borne out of the discriminations and classicism of the time, and as a fraternity was part of every social movement of the 20th century with men like Dr. Alain Leroy Locke, James Weldon Johnson, A. Philip Randolph, Huey P. Newton and Congressman John Lewis as members. The film documents the fraternities first 100 years of service.
