Roberto has just finished secondary school and has not yet decided what to do. His mother suggests that he go to shoot a short film about the Venice Biennial of Art. Roberto has never shot a film before and does not know how to. This is the story of how he does it, how he involves his friends in it, how he arrives in Venice, and how he makes the film.
