Black Magic Women (1997)

The girlfriend of an ex-gangster who is trying to go straight is kidnapped, and the kidnappers demand a fortune in diamonds as ransom. With nowhere to go for help, the ex-crook turns to a cop named Inspector Genko--the same man who spent his career trying to put him in prison.
