Shikiyoku emaki: Sennen no kyôren (2015)

Himeda, a university folklore professor, starts a yokai circle. In the late Edo period (1603-1868), there is a legend that an ogre woman, infatuated with a kappa and a zashiki warashi, tried to trick the villagers into breaking off their relationship, but the kappa, with the help of a high priest, was able to contain the ogre in a "mound." Upon learning by chance that Asano, a member of the group, is from the birthplace of the yokai legend and that his family runs a guesthouse, Himeida heads to the research camp with other members Satomi (Riri Kuribayashi) and Shibata. However, Shibata is surprised to learn along the way that Satomi, for whom he has feelings, is actually having an affair with Himeda. Meanwhile, Asano returns to his parents' house before the others and waits for the group to arrive with Mr. and Mrs. Nagata, who run a guesthouse, and their daughter Aya.
