The Sudden Meet (2015)

Rai, a married Bengali woman and journalist of a newspaper, goes to interview writer Aditya Choudhury about the release of his new novel "Hothat Dekha" (The Sudden Meet). Rai has a steady extramarital affair with photographer Abhi working for the same newspaper as Rai. However, the interview changes Rai's life and outlook. The film hints at the age-old tradition of Bengali women, who remain confined by household duties, and secretly, may desire for a freedom. But in the end, they cannot enjoy the freedom for a long time, as they have to play the responsible home-maker.
