Abram Michaels migrates from Guyana (in the Caribbean) to raise his fish-out-of-water family PLOP! in the middle of an all-white Orange County suburb. A brilliant, charismatic scientist, he desperately struggles to maintain control of his all-too Americanized kids, while also discovering what fatherhood is all about.
