Women of Islam: Veiling and Seclusion (2004)

Filmmaker Farheen Umar travels to countries in the Muslim world and speaks to women about the veil or hijab. The film also documents the history of veiling and seclusion of women in Muslim society. The film reveals the diversity of Muslim culture and the real reasons Muslim women chose to cover or not.
