When Annalisa Baeklund is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, her husband Anders Baeklund is on a quest to find a cure, with his mentor and friend, renowned Scientist Dr. Logan Boyd. After many years of research, their work leads to the discovery of the X-Gene, which would revolutionize the medical world overnight. However, the X-Gene also has dangerous unpredictable properties and is proving to be the missing link in Nato's pursuit for developing an arctic super-soldier.
