A Profile in Courage: Linda L. Smith (2014)

Linda L. Smith, against all odds, creates the first and only African American owned, fully accredited vocational career college in the State of California licensed to teach vocational (LVN) and other allied health care programs. Linda awakens from her deep sleep at 1:05 am on July 31st, 1991 to a call from God. Inspired by the Lord's presence, she gets up from bed, takes pen and paper and begins a conversation with the Lord. The result of the conversation: Linda creates Four D College. The four D's stand for Desire, Determination, Drive and Deliverance.
