Runs: A Docudrama

R.U.N.S Seasons 1 and 2, is a twenty-four episode docudrama series on the menace of university student prostitution in several Nigerian universities. Through spoken poetry of six women, and interviews form Opinion leaders and social critics, we attempt to mirror the many situations leading several young Nigerian female university-students into a life of organised prostitution, subtly termed "runs" in university communities. Through interviews with Nigerian female icons including Onyeka Onwenu and Adesuwa Onyenokwe, the issue is addressed. R.U.N.S is entertaining in its enlightenment. With music interludes, stage performances and spoken poetry infused for a refreshing approach to documentary works, R.U.N.S is the first Nigerian documentary with this interweave of different artistic genres.
