Beginning credits have a brief showing of an ink illustration(statue) that shows a woman half naked, the chest is revealed while the bottom half is covered by a blanket. The illustration(statue) is not very detailed, but does display the breasts uncovered. This image shows up multiple times during the intro.

In the beginning, an officer walks into a room in some building, and upon entering and looking down a book is on the floor with blood dripping down on it possibly from the ceiling. Scene lasts for a minute at the most. Not very frightening at all.

the post that says the book at the beginning is the only scary thing about this film is completely wrong. it's centered around Japanese legend and involves a creature that can shapeshift, targeting 3 friends that have ventured up to this temple. very atmospheric and creepy
