"Mr. Bowen" is a character study that centers around the life of Mr. Bowen (played by Tom Orr-Loney), a vinyl hoarder. Alone in a house full to the brim with records, he suddenly realized he has a mouse infestation, and his collection is now at risk of being gnawed at by the vermin. That's when neighbor, Will (played by Don McLeod), comes knocking on the door in the most unexpected of times. Feeling sorry for the old man, Will enters and lends a hand, but Mr. Bowen turns instead to focus on reliving his memories of his lost love. He is ultimately able to catch the mice but his true problem of holding on to his records unhealthily comes out. He soon realizes that he can no longer keep up his illusion of living in the past and that he must face the reality of truly letting go and moving on.
