On TV news, an occupied building is shown to have fallen. The newscast is not subtitled, so the cause is unknown except perhaps to those who speak Lithuanian.

A man briefly holds and blocks a woman from leaving an apartment.

A movie is filmed within this movie. A stuntman is shown with minor bruises, and various characters have had fake cuts applied with makeup.

As English subtitled on Amazon video, no swearing, although rowdy songs in a bar, clearly audible television content, and a couple of short lines of dialog were not subtitled. A young girl refers to herself as a "slut" and uses the word "skank," apparently without understanding the meaning, which her mother explains delicately.

Social drinking. A man and woman get tipsy, but nothing more comes of this.

Just a couple instances of smoking, once by a man under stress who normally doesn't. No other drugs.

The family is highly dysfunctional and uncommunicative, and there is continual worry that it will dissolve or that violence may ensue. These factors combine to make the entire movie disturbing.
