Out of the 4 seasons, there are only a few episodes that have moderate sex/nudity. Most of the episodes have none-mild

Infrequent explicit male full frontal nudity.

S2, A man is completely nude, as he is walking to shower in a men's room. Only his butt can be seen for about 5 seconds.

A later episode in season 2 contains a sex scene with explicit male nudity. Other than this sex scene, no other episodes in the entire show are sexually explicit.

Other than the one scene in the later episode, not much sex or nudity.

Some episodes feature strong innuendo, implied intercourse. One episode in season two features a lengthy sex scene (without explicit nudity). Another episode features someone sexually dancing and posing for a camera. Occasional nudity includes male genitalia, buttocks. Storylines explore Princess Margaret's various romantic interests, and the extramarital affairs of other royals. Childbirth scenes with nothing private or bloody visible.

S5 contains themes of infidelity/affairs throughout, but the most sensitive scenes are limited to lewd sexual conversations. Other than that there's kissing and implied sex between a couple, plus exotic dancers on a wedding, and a woman's back when she bathes (no nudity)

Infrequent acts of violence include some scenes of war experience that involve shooting (S2; no graphic detail) an avalanche that kills several people offscreen, an explosion on a boat, and other implied deaths. Strong arguments also occur frequently, as well as implications of violence.

S5 contains a disturbing violent scene which depicts the execution of the Romanov family. Several people are excecuted (shot, beaten and/or stabbed to death) in a war context (including several civilians and children) Dead bodies are shown in a pile.

An ill man coughs up blood. Blood splatters are shown in a toilet bowl and on his handkerchiefs. There is a closeup shot of an operation being performed inside of a man, one of his lungs is shown being removed.

Season 2: multiple F-words (at least 5) are used particularly by the characters Tony Armstrong-Jones and Princess Margaret.

Season 4: very few mild cuss words scattered throughout the episodes, with a few notable exceptions. Michael Fagan (and characters he associates with) frequently use the f-word. A variant of the c-word is used.

Season 4: practically none, with the exception of episode 5, which is a constant stream of "fucks" from start to finish.

Audible words include "Christ's sakes," "bloody hell" and other British slang, "f--k," "s--t," and "c--t."

S5 contains an f-word and other profanities in foreign language; besides that there's a use of sh*t, plus h*ll, bloody, a**, and God as an exclamation.

"Christ" is said many times, as is "Jesus." Infrequent crass words are also scattered throughout, for example: "bugger," and "bastards."

A couple of bawdy limericks are recited one contains the word "c---."
