Drop: The Undergrounds Forgotten Sound (2015)

This is the story of the people at the heart of one the UK's biggest music scenes and the notorious nightclub that played host to its meteoric rise. Born and Bred in Sheffield the genre expanded with thousands traveling to events across the country every weekend. However it soon started developing issues with the police, who raided the home of the genre with over 300 officers in 2005. Resulting in a closed club but a minority of offenses. From the underground to the mainstream and the violence that followed, we look back at how BASSLINE became bigger than everyone's expectations.
