Festive Lone (2015)

This is a Christmas, realistic story that happens in the provincial town of Kalamata. Composed by a mosaic of human experiences and thoughts about the deeper meaning of celebrations. The story unfolds through a wide range of characters who interact, mainly, with the narrator of the film. An expatriate of the 60's from Chicago/Illinois who returned to Greece in the 00's, after several years of residence in the U.S, because of the unbearable nostalgia for his country. We see his point of view and of the people associated with him.. We hear interesting stories. People who are far away from their homes, away from their relatives.. Others missing them, others pretending that they do not.. But, how can one overcome the loneliness?
