A man falls down the stairs to his apparent death. There are depictions of ghosts throughout and at least one dead person lying in a bed. But no "blood and guts" scenes.

Within the first minute, there is one use of the word fuck but in a non-sexual way. Bastard is used once and Emily is called a "weirdo" once. All of these happen at the very beginning of the movie.

Like with every haunted house story, there are frightening scenes.
