In 1889, Ned Williamson is the single season baseball home run king with 27 home runs. He is tapped by Albert Spalding to tour the world and make Baseball and international sensation. Along with Baseball Hall of Famers Cap Anson and Henry Chadwick, the group tours to Australia, Egypt, Italy, and France on a successful tour. In Paris, Williamson injures himself siding into a base, and is denied medical reimbursement by Spalding. This forces him to leave the tour, and never play Baseball successfully again.
