Girasol is a rags to riches story that chronicles the life of Victor Mendez Capellán, one the most successful businessman in Dominican Republic. A working class orphan armed only with his wits, the film follows his against-all-odds rise out of poverty from his days shining shoes on the streets to his command of international business in the boardroom.
