Q Coins (2014)

The film provides an insight into the world of the working class Chinese and the generation divide between the parent and the child. Because of his work as a member of a traveling Chinese acrobat troupe, the father has not been home in two years. He stays connected with his family remotely through the mobile phone. His son is becoming rebellious as he grows up, and they have trouble communicating. One day, the father asks his son if he wants anything, and the son replies he wants Q Coins, a Chinese digital currency. The father is not tech savvy and does not know what they are, yet he agrees. He must now fulfill his promise. How will he get Q Coins?
