Brought together by the passing of a sister and best friend respectively, socially and emotionally stunted obit writer for the San Francisco Chronicle James (Jason Nicola) finds an unlikely friendship and budding romance with free spirited aspiring actress Grace (Mona Johannes). But can two damaged opposites really overcome old habits and write a new beginning together?
