Scottish Ex-miner Charlie Campbell almost loses everything as his political beliefs clash with those of his bosses in the lead up to the 2014 Scottish independence referendum. Embarking on a rocky trail of discovery and deceit, he learns who his true friends are, as he attempts to pick up the shattered pieces of his life.
