The official biography of Eddie Cochran. Ray Edward Cochran (born October 2nd 1938 - died April 17 1960) was an American rock and roll musician. Cochran's songs such as Three Steps To Heaven, Summertime Blues and C'mon Everybody captured teenage frustration and desire in the mid-1950s and early 1960s. His image as a sharply dressed and attractive young man with rebellious attitude epitomised the stance of the 1950s rocker, and in his untimely and tragic death he achieved everlasting iconic status.
