Ferteliza (2022)

When Eliza, a recently widowed woman, loses her life-long husband she decides to spread his ashes on their treasured rosebush, which is frail and weathered. Overnight Eliza's roses miraculously come back to life, leading her to believe her husband's remains have healing powers. Eliza's noisy and callous neighbours tease Eliza's for her infatuation with the rosebush which sparks a murderous rampage where Eliza collects more ashes for her garden at the expense of her annoying neighbourhood. Danny, the friendly neighbourhood gardener explains how he's found a similar method to fertilising his garden which makes Eliza suspicious that he's in on her secret. When Eliza murders Danny her garden begins to die which makes her realise her mistakes and take responsibility of the gardens in the neighbourhood. Whilst Eliza's disposing of her husband's possessions, she discovers something alarming in Danny's wheelie bin.
