Panther in the Dark (2022)

Set upon an extravagant stately home, an invitation to join the elegant Miss Angel at her annual Christmas party, is made to the clumsy and disgraced Detective Axel, who has a string of recent unsolved cases hanging above his head. Known for his signature lucky coin, his luck seemingly has run out and the local press have made him the bad talk of the town. When the priceless and precious Panther pendant is stolen right in front of everyone's noses, including Axel, he makes the bold choice to restore his good name and solve the case. With each new flip of his lucky coin, he begins piecing together each of the clues and Axel interrogates the guests, one by one. In a classic mystery detective novel style, he assembles the guests and reveals his findings. Each clue now obvious; the ripped dress piece, a costume change, the missing waitress, the shovel wrapped in Christmas paper under the tree, and a quick lucky coin switch to a double headed clone, Axel deduces the thief was Miss Angel but the greatest mystery is why she would orchestrate such an elaborate ruse? Miss Angel reveals her Christmas present to Axel, a chance for him to prove his skill and to find his confidence once again.
